Fish Hatchery Incoming!

Big things are happening at QSR—and it’s all thanks to our very own F.I.S.H. Director, James Goff!

James connected with a donor who deeply believes in the vision he’s been building to make QSR and Lake Murray Gill the No. 1 fishing program destination in Scouting America. Through that support, he secured funding for brand-new hatchery equipment that will be used at QSR to teach Scouts how a fish hatchery operates—from egg collection all the way to releasing fish back into the lake.

This exciting addition makes QSR the first and ONLY camp to offer this hands-on hatchery experience as part of its program! Please be sure to thank James for his hard work and dedication to creating new and exciting opportunities for our Scouts.
